Annie the Musical

Leaping lizards! Annie is back in Sydney for the first time since 2012, giving a whole new generation the chance to get to know this much-loved musical.

The cast is stellar with Anthony Warlow playing Daddy Warbucks, a role he has played three times on the Australian stage, as well as on Broadway, and Deb Krizak playing Miss Hannigan, the mean head of the orphanage where Annie lives.

With Amanda Lea La Vergne as Grace Farrell, Keanu Gonzalez as Rooster Hannigan, Mackenzie Dunn as Lily St Regis and former yellow Wiggle Greg Page as FDR, and a cracking ensemble, it’s an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza!

But it’s the kids who really steal the show, with four newcomers – Beatrix Alder, Matilda Casey, Dakota Chanel and Stephanie McNamara – sharing the role of Annie, and the rest of the orphans do an incredible job as well. And it wouldn’t be Annie without Sandy the dog.

Annie is one of the most awarded and loved musicals of all time. With an iconic score, featuring classics like: It’s the Hard-Knock Life, Easy Street and Tomorrow, Annie is a grown-up musical for the whole family!
