Balloon Aloft

Flying high above the Hunter Valley, Balloon Aloft have been wowing people with hot air balloon rides for more than 45 years.

And, after winning three consecutive NSW Tourism Awards in Adventure Travel, they have been elevated to the lofty ranks of the 2024 NSW Tourism Awards Hall of Fame.

Balloon Aloft also picked up the Gold 2024 NSW Tourism Award for Accessibility, having introduced the first accessible ballooning basket in the state. It makes it incredibly easy for people with mobility issues to enjoy the thrill of a flight over the Hunter in a hot air balloon, something they otherwise wouldn’t be able to do.

After your flight, you’re treated to a deluxe breakfast at the delightful Peterson House, which tops off an incredible morning out.

Balloon Aloft also has operations in Camden, Byron Bay, Mudgee and Moungibi, (Burketown) in Queensland.

But no matter where you fly with Balloon Aloft, it’s easy to see why they’ve won so many awards. It’s safe, it’s simple and once you’re up there it’s so stunning and serene.
