Destination dining is so exciting because ‘getting there’ is nearly as enticing as the menu! One such location is the iconic Berowra Waters Inn.
Located on the beautiful Hawkesbury River, Berowra Waters Inn is only accessible by seaplane, or by boat, adding to the expectations of this fabulous restaurant. Boasting a unique location, nestled amongst bushland, the restaurant was designed by award-winning architect Glenn Murcutt and features sandstone, corrugated tin and ceiling- to-floor glass louvre windows, overlooking the ever-changing river.
The restaurant offers an ‘Australian’ degustation, reflecting our country’s rich, multicultural tapestry, sourcing produce from local makers, growers and suppliers. The summer menu includes 6 courses, with the option of having a cheese course too. After a starter of four ‘snacks’, guests are treated to a sequence of incredible dishes, starring local seafood and meats, and each paired with fine wines and Australian-made sake.
This is the perfect restaurant for lovers of adventure and fine food!
