Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary

The Coffs Coast is home to some incredible animals and marine wildlife, and when they get into trouble and need human help, they have the perfect refuge at the Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary.

Stay in beautiful Coffs Harbour to visit the sanctuary and the best way to travel is by plane. Flying with Rex Airlines into the well equipped Coffs Harbour Airport is an quick and easy experience.

The Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary is on a mission to inspire visitors to protect local animals, through education and unique animal experiences at the sanctuary. Visitors can meet the incredible resident animals, including penguins, turtles, seals and dolphins. There is also a range of fantastic animal encounters to choose from, from feeding the little blue penguins, to seal and dolphin encounters, and even the chance to be a trainer for the day!

The sanctuary is big on rehabilitation, treating and caring for hundreds of injured turtles each year, many of which are released into the wild. Turtle releases are a regular occurrence, at beautiful Charlesworth Bay, where the whole community is invited to meet the turtles, and farewell these beautiful animals, before they are released into the wild, in a heart-warming and unforgettable community event.
