Dog Friendly Eateries

How good is dining with your best friend? Well if your best friend is your dog, we’ve found a couple of fantastic eateries that are not just dog friendly, they are downright dog loving!

First is Naked Brew in Erskineville, where dogs and their owners can enjoy a brilliant brekky or a lazy lunch. Humans have to try the Not So Buddha Bowl, a play on the popular healthy lunch dish, but with crispy pork belly and American bacon added. The Kim Chee Scranble is also a winner – scrambled eggs mixed with spicy Korean fermented cabbage.

For dogs, there’s a frothy goat’s milk doggychino and doggie donuts made of unsalted peanut butter and dipped in yoghurt icing.

If you want to take your furry friend to the pub for lunch, hit the Carrington Hotel in Surry Hills. Here you can try a simple menu of top class pub food – burgers, steaks, schnittys and salmon – while your canine companion can try steak tartare or rump steak and veggies.

If you want something a little fancier, there’s the capelli pasta with prawns in a dill, tomato and olive oil sauce.

And if your four-legged friend has been very good there’s a special dessert for them – pupcakes of course!
