The 118-year-old pub is what puts Eltham on the map and it’s a great excuse to take a leisurely drive through the hinterland, to enjoy all the things that make a good pub great. New owners took over this place about a year ago and they lovingly restored it – keeping all its traditional quirks at the bar downstairs, but, if you want to turn your visit into a sleepover, the upstairs has been given a carefully considered makeover with rooms that are both bohemian and stylish.
