With more than 300 well-trained horses and ponies, there’s a perfect match for every rider. Children as young as three can enjoy lead pony rides, while over-sevens and adults can explore the valley on guided trail rides through towering rainforest, native bushland, winding creeks and breathtaking valleys.
As the gentle rhythm of the horses’ hooves carries you through the landscape, it’s easy to understand why horse riding is one of the most memorable ways to experience this remarkable wilderness. Knowledgeable guides help riders of all abilities build confidence, ensuring everyone can relax and enjoy the journey.
One of Glenworth Valley’s most iconic daily traditions takes place every afternoon at 4.30pm, when hundreds of horses thunder across the valley during the famous Running of the Horses. It’s a spectacular sight that has captivated visitors for more than 50 years and remains one of the Central Coast’s most unforgettable experiences.
When the day’s adventures are over, there’s no need to leave. Whether you’re pitching a tent beneath the stars, parking the caravan, enjoying the unique experience of glamping, or indulging in the comfort of a luxury eco villa complete with a private hot tub, there’s an accommodation option to suit every style of traveller.
