Mel is in far north of the state catching up with two winners from the NSW Tourism Awards and checking out their amazing experiences.
The first winner is local tour company Go Sea Kayaks. They offered Mel the opportunity to get up close and personal with the local marine wildlife of Byron Bay. On a lucky day, you’ll see humpback whales, wild bottlenose dolphins and three species of sea turtle that call the pristine waters home. Kayaking in Byron Bay is a rare experience — with stunning coastlines and breathtaking marine life. Next, Mel enjoyed an alfresco lunch with a difference. She travelled a little farther north up the coast to meet with the owners from Blue Ginger Picnics.
