Where else would iconic Aussie singer Kate Ceberano spend her Sydney Weekend but on the equally iconic Bronte to Bondi Coastal Walk.
Kate’s a Melbourne girl, but spent the summer in Sydney soaking up the sun and the sights around Sydney’s east. The Bronte to Bondi holds a special place for her – it where she met and fell in love with her husband and fell in love with Sydney.
Kate’s weekend also includes a stop at the historic Tamarama Surf Lifesaving Club to pounds the floor with the Queen of Zumba, Marcia Collins. An hour with Marcia would have to be the funnest way to keep fit.
Another of Kate’s haunts is Bondi Icebergs, from swimming laps in the pool downstairs, to bingo in the RSL on the middle level, to the surf culture meets fine dining delights of the Icebergs Dining Room on the top floor. Kate played a series of shows here over the summer and it has become one of her favorite places to dine, have a drink and enjoy that magnificent view of Bondi Beach.
