My Sydney Weekender with Tim Robards

What do you think the winner of SAS Australia Tim Robards likes to do on the weekend? Abseil down a building? Go for a run with extra weights? Spend an hour in an ice bath?

It’s actually a lot tamer than that. Tim loves to paddle board and Watsons Bay is the perfect Sydney spot to do it.

Local tour company WATSSUP runs paddle board tours in Watsons Bay for all sorts of paddlers, from beginners to experts. Owner Joanna gives people any paddle board coaching they might need, a tour of the Bay and a history lesson thrown in.

After paddling, Tim likes to hit the Grumpy Baker in Vaucluse for one of their delectable croissants. He’s also pretty fond of the shakshuka served with hommos and salad, the chicken schnitzel burger or one of their famous pita bread sandwiches.

A SUP in the morning and a sup in the afternoon. Sounds like the perfect way to spend a Sydney weekend!
