If you and the family are keen for a ‘pick-your-own’ experience, TNT Produce, in the heart of Bilpin, is where you can pick to your heart’s content. Family-owned and run by fourth generation orchardists, TNT Produce grows a variety of fruit and vegetables for picking. There’s apples, strawberries, tomatoes, zucchinis, and even zucchini flowers. The farm is also home to many animals that kids can meet and pet. TNT Produce is an experience the whole family will enjoy!
There are many ‘pick-your-own’ experiences in the Hawkesbury, where the fertile soil creates perfect growing conditions, but one that will really brighten up your day is a visit to Glenbernie Family Farms. Glenbernie is a pick-your-own flower farm where they grow fields of glorious sunflowers, and other varieties including lavender and anemones. Visitors can pick their own bespoke bunch, or bunches, of fresh blooms, while they learn about the growing process and the flower varieties. You can also BYO picnic to enjoy in the fields, or have Glenbernie order a gourmet platter through a local deli. This really is a glorious day out!
