Rising Sun Workshop

Motorcycle tragics will tell you there is nothing better than two wheels beneath you and the freedom of the open road ahead! They might also tell you that bike maintenance can be somewhat expensive. Well, have no fear because Rising Sun Workshop in Newtown will bring music to your ears.

RSW is Sydney’s first communal workshop for motorcycle enthusiasts. It’s a motorbike mecca that provides not only a workspace, but the tools and knowledge to maintain, repair and modify your beloved machine. It’s also the perfect place to grab a beverage and a bite to talk all things bike with like-minded folk.

The workshop has four bike bays and a communal workbench and is open seven days a week. Members have discounted access to all sorts of classes from minor servicing and maintenance, to welding and auto-electrics.

Rising Sun Workshop also houses an award-winning Japanese-style café with a knockout brunch and lunch menu featuring stunning dishes like the Kingfish Tataki Salad, Ramen Scotch Egg, and The Monk; RSW’s signature Ramen lunch-bowl.
