Clam Bar & Longshore

Fishing for fresh Sydney dining experiences? Well, if it’s seafood that gets your tastebuds tingling, this weekend Sally’s checking out two new city hotspots that will have you hooked!

Clam Bar is the latest venture from the Sydney restaurant ‘dream team’ who created the hit eateries, Pellegrino 2000 and Bistrot 916.  This gorgeous, vibrant two-hatted restaurant in Bridge Street is modelled on a classic New York steakhouse, but has been modernised to suit Sydney’s vibe. Join Sally as she chats with co-owner and sommelier, Andy Tyson, and samples a few of Clam Bar’s starring seafood dishes, including Scallops Casino, Char-grilled Calamari, and a succulent Coral Trout with Brown Butter, Caper and Lemon Sauce.

Next up, Sally drops into Longshore, in Chippendale – another newcomer that’s making waves on the Sydney foodie scene. This stylish restaurant and wine bar is all about contemporary dishes with Asian flare and a focus on fresh, sustainable local seafood.

Sally hits gourmet gold when she sits with owner and chef, Jarrod Walsh, and tries some of the greatest hits from Lonshore’s incredible Snack Flight Menu. Featuring knockout dishes such as Abrolhos Island Scallops, Black Tiger Prawn Tarts, Grilled Clarence River Octopus Skewers – and a couple of Abalone Party Pies that blow Sally’s mind!
