Sarah stars as Norma Desmond, a legendary silent movie star who has been discarded by Hollywood in the wake of the ‘talkies’. As Norma dreams of a return to the screen, she meets struggling Hollywood screenwriter, Joe Gillis, and what unfolds is a story of drama, passion, and ultimate tragedy. All beautifully played out on stage, under the sails of the Sydney Opera House, and to the sounds of an incredible orchestra.
