Taste of Wisemans: Orange Blossom Festival

Spring has sprung on the Hawkesbury, and for a real taste of the region, there’s never been a better time to visit!

Part of the annual Orange Blossom Festival, A Taste of Wisemans is an inaugural event, celebrating all the produce, producers, artists and artisans found in the local area, all on the banks of the picturesque Hawkesbury River. It’s also a celebration of the incredible resilience of the local community, who have faced devastating fires and floods over the last few years.

Visitors can expect a series of riverside stalls, along Wisemans Ferry Park, with vendors selling many wares, from local honey and preserves to other tasty foodstuffs. Artists from the Ferry Artists Gallery will also be running painting workshops for kids and families, and Komi Keg will be bringing their own mobile bar, serving cocktails, beer and wine all while exploring the stunning natural scenery and local charm the region has to offer.

The Get Ready activations at A Taste of Wisemans will showcase representatives, from the local SES and RFS to advise people on their preparedness for the upcoming fire and flood seasons.

A visit to Taste of Wisemans is not only a fun-filled, family- friendly and free day out, it just might save your life!
