The Camden Golf Club is one of south west Sydney’s lushest courses, and now it has a brand-new restaurant that is just as spectacular – The Stables.
From the always inventive Catering HQ team, The Stables delivers club classics as well as adding really special signature dishes into the mix. The menu also changes with the seasons, so there’s always something fresh and new to order.
The current winter menu has real warmers, like the Slow-cooked Lamb Shoulder with potato puree, roast dutch carrots, confit leek and topped with a herb crumb. Or if you like it spicy try the Gochujang Pork Belly, with kim chee, smashed chat potatoes and crackling.
The club classics have also had a lift – the prawn and tomato tagliatelle is served with a seafood bisque sauce and chorizo crumb, while the Smash Burger is made from slow-cooked beef shin, formed into a patty and then smashed on the hotplate.
And if you want something simple and shareable, the pizza menu is a real winner. Try the firey prawn pizza, the chicken and avocado pizza or even the Nutella pizza for dessert. And there’s plenty more to please the sweet lovers on the menu.
