Vinyl Revival

They say ‘everything old is news again’, and right now- there’s a worldwide vinyl revival! If you’re keen to get on board, just head to The Record Store.

The Record Store, on the cusp of Sydney’s Surry Hills and Darlinghurst, is a mecca for vinyl lovers, and those keen to get into records, and even start their own record collection. You can ‘crate- dig’ for your fave artists, discover new artists, and even listen to albums before you buy! For those keen to learn how to DJ, there are even one-on-one classes on offer in the shop, with DJ/Vinyl mixing lessons. And if you need to purchase any DJ-related gear, they have everything you need, and more!

If you love Japanese food, and good tunes, then you will love Rekodo Restaurant and Bar. Located in the harbourside suburb of Barangaroo, Rekodo has some of Sydney’s best DJ’s spinning tunes from Thursday through to Sunday and the vibes are always good. The menu is Japanese, seasonal, and designed to share, with snacks, larger plates, and a selection of sensational skewers. Signature dishes include the Wagyu tataki, green koshu ponzu and egg yolk, and a selection of Nori Tacos!

If you haven’t already – get on board the vinyl revival!
