The City of Newcastle is thrilled to announce the return of the New Annual Festival this spring.
This 10-day extravaganza will showcase a vibrant mix of art, culture, and creativity throughout the city runs from the 27 September – 6 October 2024. Attendees can look forward to a variety of immersive and interactive experiences, including First Nations performances, music and theatre.
The festival will feature two family-friendly parties designed to illuminate the town. The festivities will commence with the First Night Street Party on opening night on the 27th of September. As the festival draws to a close, the Global Gathering will take over Museum Park on October 5th, celebrating Newcastle’s diverse multicultural communities and the Hunter region.
