The annual Transport Heritage Expo returns to Sydney this October long weekend, 3rd – 5th October 2026, bringing history to life over three action-packed days!
Central Station will be buzzing with historic displays, activities, rides and live entertainment. The harbour will also be a hub of activity with cruises on classic steamboats and a fully operational 1874 barque, the James Craig. Plus there’s vintage buses, electric trains, and steam train rides where you can travel on parts of the rail network rarely seen by passenger trains. There’s something for history buffs of all ages and interests.
