And you don’t have to go bush. One of the best ways to camp is to pull up to one of the many holiday parks scattered around NSW. You get the beauty of the spot you’re staying, and you get to use all the facilities, as well.
We checked out a couple of parks in Kangaroo Valley and explored a few different ways you could camp. At Holiday Haven Kangaroo Valley, we saw the Ultimate Xplor GT, a sleek and stylish off-road camper trailer, with a king bed, shower and internal kitchen for those cold mornings or wet nights.
Across town at Glenmack Caravan Park, we had a peek in the Avan Applause 600 Motorhome. It’s the perfect way to bring all the comforts of home on the road with you.
And for traditionalists, we also checked out a couple of tents for one-person and five-person camping from Oztent. But there’s nothing old-fashioned about the design – these are made to go up and down in 30 seconds. That means more time to relax!
