There’s driving video games and there’s go-karts you can drive, but nobody’s put the two together – until now.
BattleKart at the Entertainment Quarter is a totally immersive experience, combining the strategy and fun of gaming with the skill and adrenaline of karting.
Challenge your friends on Battlesnake where you collect fruit which adds to your tail, Battlecolour where you aim to collect the most colour pieces on the circuit and Battlefoot, where two teams compete to launch giant footballs into the waiting goal. Or you can all work together as a team to defeat a marauding disease in Battlevirus.
But the most popular game is Battlerace, a real-life Mario Kart-style experience. Clock up the most circuits, drop hazards and pick up power ups as you go.
And while you’re at the Entertainment Quarter head to Hyper Karting on the fifth floor on the EQ Car Park. The high-octane, fully-electric karting experience features the longest indoor track in the country, with track layout changes twice weekly. And there are mini and junior tracks on site.
Wind down with a stroll through the Entertainment Quarter markets, held every Wednesday and Saturday. Fresh fruit, veg and flowers, artisan eats and crafts and some sensational food stalls.
There’s a lot of entertainment happening at the Entertainment Quarter.
