BIG4 Great Lakes Holiday Park is a NSW Tourism Award-winning family holiday destination. Its headland location is totally surrounded by the Coolongolook River in the picturesque twin towns of Forster –Tuncurry, just three-and-a-half hours from Sydney.
Erica enjoyed a stay in one of the park’s self-contained cabins but you could also bring your caravan, tent, or upgrade from camping to glamping in one of the deluxe safari tents. There’s also specialty villas on site if that’s more your speed.

Erica checked out the fantastic pool area for the kids and the quieter lap pool area for the adults. She also made time for breakfast and coffee at the Great Lakes Café.
You can launch a kayak or a canoe right from the river’s edge and there’s a boat ramp for the fishing fanatics who can’t wait to get into the water.
Bring the family or just bring yourselves. And because it’s a pet-friendly park, you can bring your fur baby, as well!
