The Central Coast is an oasis of beautiful beaches, bays and bush. And while many visitors never stray far from the coast, if you venture into the hinterland – you’ll find some very special farms and some very special farmers and producers.
If you’re keen to experience country life – Central Coast style – don’t miss this year’s Harvest Festival Central Coast. Expect over thirty event ‘hubs’, on an easy-to-follow farm trail. Highlights include Mollies Farm, where kids get to meet a whole menagerie of farm animals, as well as enjoy outdoor painting classes. For the big kids, Mollies will also be hosting ticketed sunset picnics, on the picturesque grounds. For those keen to see juice production in action, Eastcoast Beverages will also be throwing open their doors, with orchard and factory tours, and tastings of their delicious range of products. Then there’s Angel Sussurri serving up great food, coffee and atmosphere – the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the countryside before you continue along the Harvest Festival trail. And for the cheeriest farm of all, make sure you swing into The Bloom Barn Farm where you can pick your own bunch of fresh flowers, and enjoy live music in the fields. The kids will also love the sunflower maze!
Through-out Harvest Festival, there’ll also be plenty of satellite events, like the Glenworth Grazing Food and Wine Festival. Enjoy the wares of over ninety vendors with gourmet foods, gin, wine, and craft beer, as well as live music and entertainment.
Farms, food, friends, fun – and fresh flowers… it’s the festival you won’t want to miss!
