Hills Wildlife Sanctuary | Dural

Australia has some of the cutest, and quirkiest animals on the planet, and just like us humans, when they’re injured, they need to go to rehab!

Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, on the outskirts of Sydney in the semi- rural suburb of Dural, is home to a whole menagerie of injured, surrendered and abandoned, native Australian animals. While not open to the public on a daily basis, people can book ‘behind-the-scenes’ tours, which include many exciting animal encounters, with resident dingoes, black cockatoos, reptiles and more. The sanctuary encompasses over 35 acres of pristine bushland, and visitors can also feed the kangaroos, wallabies, and emus who roam free in the bush!

In an exciting new partnership, with Into the Wild Escapes, visitors can now stay onsite, and get off- grid, in two tiny homes! Tiny Wallaby and Tiny Wombat are super stylish, and beautifully appointed, sleeping up to 6 people. They also have BBQ’s, outdoor fire pits, and hot tubs where you can really unwind, and soak up nature! Guests can also book an exclusive tour of the sanctuary, only available through Into the Wild Adventures.
