Luke Mangan is one of Australia’s favourite chefs – and now he’s showcasing two of the world’s best cuisines – in the heart of Potts Point.
Luc-San is the latest restaurant venture, from one of the country’s busiest chefs and restaurateurs. Modelled on the Izakayas of Japan, this casual neighbourhood restaurant features dishes fusing two of Luke’s favourite cuisines – French and Japanese. Kick your meal off with classic steak tartare, with fried sushi rice and wasabi leaf. For mains, move onto the duck with ume and burnt orange and, for vegetarians, the soba noodles with peanut, sesame and dijon rayu dressing.
When it comes to new dining experiences the skies are the limit for Luke Mangan! Luke’s Table at the Pylon Lookout is located within the south-east pylon of the Harbour Bridge, 200 stairs skyward. The elevated dining experience begins with a brief tour of The Pylon Museum, before ascending the final fews steps to Luke’s communal table for twenty people. Upon arrival, guests can enjoy canapes and drinks on the balcony, with stellar views of the city, including the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Dinner is a three course affair, at the beautifully-set communal table, with delectable dishes, lovingly prepared on-site by Luke’s team of talented chefs and wait staff.
The shouts on us! We’re giving away a $250 voucher to Luc-San and a $690 voucher to Luke’s Table at the Pylon Lookout – head to our Facebook page for your chance to win.
