The National Institute of Dramatic Art, or NIDA as it’s known, has been training actors for theatre, film and television for over sixty years. Since 1959 the school has grown to 170 full-time students annually and around 70 full-time staff and has added a multitude of courses including, directing, writing for performance, technical theatre, design, stage production, cultural leadership, costume, and make-up.
Located in the Sydney city suburb of Kensington, the campus is made up of an impressive range of workshops and state-of-the-art rehearsal rooms and performance venues as well as the spectacular 700-seat Parade Theatre.
