With almost two decades of experience in the business, Sally Stanton has become a familiar face on our TV screens.
After completing a degree in Media and Communications, she kicked off her career as a snow reporter in the Australian ski fields. Sally then went on to capture the hearts of kids across the country on the much-loved children’s programs Saturday Disney and It’s Academic.
Sally has also worked as a presenter and producer across a number of shows, interviewing Hollywood superstars such as Brad Pitt and Will Smith, and has filmed some amazing locations including Iceland, New York and London.
Recently Sally hosted a wine series for the Halliday Wine Companion, travelling to Australia’s most iconic wine regions.
With a love for tennis, Sally’s ultimate gig was working as a presenter at the Australian Open, where she interviewed the world’s best tennis players.
As a mum, Sally enjoys searching for the best food and wine in NSW, all while entertaining a toddler. This makes Sally the perfect fit for Sydney Weekender.
“Nothing says I’m home like seeing our spectacular Sydney Harbour in all its iconic glory. It’s cliché but it’s a sight for sore eyes when you’re flying back to Sydney on a bluebird day. Seeing the Opera House and Harbour Bridge against the sparkling backdrop never fails to give me the warm and fuzzies.”
