When it comes to recycling, it can be confusing! But helping everyone take action, for the good of the planet, is Banish Recycling Hub.
Banish, located in Sydney’s Haymarket, is a unique environmental facility, and the brainchild of former NSW Young Australian of the Year- Lottie Dalziel. At Banish, a dedicated team of volunteers are tasked with sorting the boxes of recycled items, which are then re- purposed into a range of kitchen, work, and practical items. People can also purchase these items- with everything from bowls, pens, salad servers, earrings and more, from the hub.
At the Banish Recycling Hub, people can either drop off their hard- to- recycle items or send them into the hub for sorting. Banish also run a series of environmental workshops, for both kids and adults, educating people how to correctly recycle.
So get on board and let’s help banish the world of landfill plastic- one bottle-top at a time!
