From beachside cafes to elevated dining, the Sutherland Shire offers an array of eating out options that are sure to tantalise your tastebuds!
Next Door Cronulla is located right on North Cronulla Beach and has been a popular spot for locals since 2016. During the week, they serve up the classic brunch hits, and on the weekends, there’s no better place to be to soak up a leisurely long lunch and those beach views! Next Door is run by the Allouche family, with their family restaurant Sea-level being literally, next door. It’s a great spot to drop into for a coffee or even a Sunday sessions with the gang! Next Door blurs the line between café, restaurant and bar, serving up modern Australian cuisine with middle eastern flare. With unbeatable views of North Cronulla Beach, there is no better place to get a sense of the Shire’s laidback, seaside vibe.
Fior in Gymea is a new neighbourhood gem and dining destination. Restaurateur couple and Shire natives, Tristan Rosier and Bec Fanning, along with their head chef Will Lawson, recently opened this stunning Italian eatery. The team are behind successful Surry Hills venues, Arthur and Jane, and have brought that city flair to the heart of The Shire. With great food at an accessible price point, people can visit for a casual dinner or an intimate night and the freshly made pasta will transport you to Italy with one bite. ‘Fior’ means ‘flower’ in Italian, and like a flower, this place is as fresh and beautiful as it gets.
