The Northern Lights have come down under!
This winter you can check out the ethereal beauty of Borealis in the Vines, an amazing immersive light and sound show held at Centennial Vineyards in Bowral. Be amazed as light and colour is splashed across the sky, with perfectly matched music track in an installation from Swiss artist Dan Acher.
The effect is created by an array of theatrical hazing machines and laser beams to create the awe-inspiring performance. As the wind blows the haze, it truly feels like the lights are making their way across the night sky.
Get there early and sample some of the fine cool climate wines produced at Centennial Vineyards, especially the Brut Traditionelle sparkling and the hard to find Italian varietal red, Rondinella Corvina.
Borealis in the Vines runs until June 25. Rug up, bring a blanket to sit on and enjoy the experience while you sample the best local food and wine. Centennial Vineyards has definitely been transformed into a winter wonderland.
