Just like ice hockey – without the ice and the bloodlust – street roller hockey has smaller goals, and no goalkeeper, and can be played outside- anyway where there’s a flat surface.
For those keen to give the sport a crack, the Street Roller Hockey League Sydney is open to all new players. All you need to bring is a pair of roller blades, and all the other equipment is provided. You can rock up, and join one of their training sessions and if you fall in love with the sport, you can even join one of the Sydney teams with cool names like the Marrickville Bin Chickens!
Street Roller Hockey Sydney League is big on inclusion and community and after each session or game, the players gather together at a local watering hole, helping to foster lifelong connections and friendships. From the game, to the team spirit, street roller hockey really is the game of champions!
