The Oyster Farmers Daughter

They call Narooma the ‘heart of the Oyster Coast’ and some of the world’s best oysters are pulled straight from the pristine Wagonga inlet! And sitting right on the shores of the inlet is The Oyster Farmer’s Daughter.

This delightful, waterfront restaurant serves oysters- pulled straight from the oyster farms in the area, providing diners with some of the freshest and tastiest Sydney Rock oysters available. On the menu, there are oysters served six ways, including natural, gin infused, and ones served with Thai sauce, finger lime, and pickled ginger with tamari, lemon and sesame. Other tasty morsels or ‘small bites’ include grilled prawn and guacamole bites, and flower-dusted baby squid- served with a citrus salt aioli. For larger plates, the grilled fish and chips- in a light batter- and served with tartare sauce is a winner, and the king prawns are grilled to absolute perfection! Best washed down with a hand- crafted cocktail, beer, wine or juice.

Fresh oysters- and seafood- eaten on the shores of the Wagonga Inlet. When it comes to destination dining experiences, it doesn’t get any better!
