A golden horse used to stand on Windsor Rd in front of The Vineyard. Well, the horse is gone, but the pub has gone from strength to strength.
The front Tourma Bar has stayed the same for now, but the rest of the pub has had a complete transformation with new lounge bars, bistro areas and much much more.
One major change is the opening of Tommy’s Café, a coffee shop at the back of the pub serving coffee, pastries and full breakfasts from 6am daily to 9pm at night. Tommy’s is named after Tommy Sewell, the founder and original owner of the pub. Right outside is a new adventure playground which the kids absolutely love.
The bistro menu is so much broader than your normal pub fare. Dishes like King Ora Salmon carpaccio, Indonesian Corn Fritters, Japanese Miso Chicken Bowl and the 24-hour slow cooked lamb brique are absolute standouts.
Come to The Vineyard for breakfast, lunch or dinner – or all three. You can even stay at the on-site accommodation.
