From Byron to the Queensland border this Northern pocket of NSW has it all – uncrowded beaches, world-class surf breaks, World Heritage listed rainforest, heaps of adventures and really unique places to stay, eat and drink!

Mike’s adventure starts at Tropical Fruit World. This massive fruit farm has been a Sydney Weekender favourite for many years – and just keeps getting better. Explore it by Tractor Train or on a Wildlife Boat cruise – you’ll see the biggest variety of tropical fruit in Australia! There a new Native Bush Tucker garden to explore (and taste!)

You won’t travel far in the Tweed without seeing sugar cane fields – they’ve been growing it here for more than 100 years. But Husk Distillery is the only place in Australia growing sugar cane exclusively for rum production. It’s Paddock to bottle! And they also invented the world’s first colour-changing gin – looks cool – tastes awesome!

Mike’s accommodation is also super special – he’s staying at Australia’s first outdoor glamping resort – The Hideaway Cabarita Beach. Luxurious Bell tents are fitted with chic interiors, REAL beds, rugs, bath towels, fans and electricity…. it’s deluxe and just metres from the surf.
