Gear up to celebrate the Year of the Snake at Georges River Council’s 2025 Lunar New Year Festival marking the 22nd annual festival in the region – the grandest council-led event in Sydney’s south!

There’s something for everyone: indulge in delicious street food, explore unique crafts, enjoy Lunar New Year shopping, traditional stage performances, music, cultural displays, art, and family-friendly activities and so much more.

Festivities start from 12pm with street markets, stage performances from 2pm and the official ceremony marking the Year of the Snake begins at 3 PM – an event you won’t want to miss.
