Guiseppe Verdi’s famous La Traviata is coming to the Sydney Opera House stage this summer!
Glamour, riches, and secrecy… La Traviata brings the drama in this spellbinding opera! Soprano Samantha Clarke brings the inner life of coveted courtesan, Violetta, to life in this glittering production directed by Sarah Giles. In addition to Verdi’s emotionally evocative compositions, set designer Charles Davis‘ highlights Violetta’s private Turmoil, even within spectacular crown scenes. The glamorous gowns in this opera hero the Victorian era in his costuming, but with all the fun of 20th century couture.
Opera Australia‘s brand new production of La Traviata is playing in the Joan Sutherland Theatre at the Sydney Opera House from January 2nd – March 14th, and tickets start from just $79!
