Almost twenty years after its premiere on Broadway, Wicked the Musical, ‘the true untold story of the witches of Oz’, remains one of the most successful and popular musicals in the world.
Join Candice on stage as she chats to the wonderful Todd McKenney about playing the not-so-wonderful Wizard in this story which is set long before Dorothy dropped in to the land of Oz.
Candice then takes a peek at some of the more than 250 fabulous costumes in the wardrobe department, including Glinda the Good Witch’s stunning bubble dress, Elphaba the Wicked Witch’s earthy-dark gown, and the exquisite green finery of Emerald City.
Lastly, Candice chats to lead performers, Courtney Monsma and Sheridan Adams about their respective roles as Glinda and Elphaba, and the show’s major theme of good versus wicked, which is explored through the unlikely friendship of these two iconic characters.
