No trip to the Central Coast would be complete without a visit to the Australian Reptile Park, one of the premium attractions on the Coast. And there’s even more reason to visit with the opening of the Weigal Venom Centre.
The new Centre houses over 200 venomous snakes which are milked daily to help create life-saving anti-vemon. And for the first time, all visitors to the park can watch this as it happens. If you’re really keen, you could even go inside the milking room and experience snake milking right up close.
With so many reptiles and spiders, not to mention the other animals you can interact with, it really is a must on any visit to the Central Coast.
And another must see is the brand new Six String Brewery site in Erina. The new brewery and taphouse can produce four times as much beer as the previous site and the new taproom and kitchen producing incredible Filipino food is superb.
Try a Coastie lager paired with adobo chicken skewers, a Tropical Pale Ale with an adobo beef sub or an alcoholic ginger beer served with an enormous Filipino pork hock.
You can also enjoy cocktails, including beer themed cocktails, and a range of other tap beers while you’re there.
Forget snakes and ladders, make it snakes and lagers every time!
