Opera Australia has been bringing the best Operas in the world to Australians for more than fifty years, and this weekend we go behind the scenes at The Opera Centre.
Join Sophie Falkiner as she spends a day in the life of soprano, Julie Lea Goodwin, to learn about the staggering amount of work that goes into an Opera Australia production.
Sophie meets rising star, Bronwyn Douglass, who shares her incredible journey from chorus singer to main-stage with the support of Opera Australia.
After a quick soprano-style singing session, she gets the chance to step in time with choreographer, Matt Barclay, before she heads to Wardrobe and chats costumes with Coordinator, Cassie Pascoli.
To finish off the day, she gets her glam on for a drink with her fabulously-dressed tour guide, Julie Lea, and raises a toast to the summer season at the Sydney Opera House.
