Lego has been loved world-wide, since it was first invented in Denmark back in 1932. And if you’re a fan of these fun and colourful building blocks, RELICS: A New World Rises at the Australian Museum, will blow your mind!
Created by LEGO® Masters winners Jackson Harvey and Alex Towler, Relics is where vintage objects meet miniature LEGO® brick worlds. There are 14 unique, immersive displays, including a cool vintage Volkswagen Beetle, an old disused jetski, an ATM, and even old televisions. Inside each display, you’ll find miniature worlds, populated by LEGO® figurines, with many famous faces, and legends of history to discover. Relics also has an environmental and sustainability message, with each display a dystopian world. Kids, and big kids at heart, can enjoy scavenger hunts, discovering miniature figurines of famous people, and legends of history, in each and every world.
An incredible display of creativity and imagination, RELICS really is the block- buster, you won’t want to miss!
