Calmsley Hill City Farm brings the country to the city, on the outskirts of Sydney’s CBD in Abbotsbury. This unique and interactive farm is designed to give urban kids experiences, and invaluable educational insights, into country life. Kids will have the opportunity to get hands-on and milk a cow, and feed a range of animals from native Australian creatures to farmyard and exotic animals.
Each day there are exciting shows to watch, from Sheep Shearing to the Working Dog and the thrilling Stock Whip shows. Other highlight experiences include tractor rides, around the rural property and paddocks, and the baby animal Petting Farm where you can pet and feed the cutest baby goats and bunnies! There’s also a daily educational Koala Talk where you’ll learn about these incredible bears, loved the world over, and the ongoing efforts to save them from extinction.
At Calmsley Hill City Farm there’s a cafe with hot and cold drinks and specialising in a range of delicious burgers from your classic beef to vegetarian and vegan options. Or why not BYO lunch and enjoy this delightful rural setting, and all it has to offer!
