Dry July is almost upon us, so it’s time for you to take the pledge, go dry for the month and help raise funds to help people as they receive treatment for cancer.
It’s going to make you feel fantastic, but you don’t have to hide away while you do it. There are plenty of restaurants who have risen to the Dry July challenge, creating non-alcoholic cocktails to perfectly pair with their menus.
At Chiswick Woollahra, head sommelier Georgia Davidson-Brown has matched a No-groni with their signature Barramasalata dip, a classic southside cocktail with the Crispy Zucchini and Anchovies starter and an amaretto sour to cut the richness of the Fried Chicken Sliders with housemade pickles.
While over at North Bondi Fish, they’ve put a booze-free amaretto sour with their Harvey Bay Scallops in Café De Paris Butter, a Fig-no-rita to go with their classic fish tacos and an N-Ocean’s Twelve cocktail to make their Mussels in N’duja broth really sing.
Give Dry July a try, and give Chiswick Woollahra and North Bondi Fish a try while you’re at it!
