Sydney Zoo – Ice Age

Sydney Zoo at Eastern Creek is home to over 4000 animals including awe-inspiring and endangered species from all around the world. This July, Australia’s newest zoo is giving you the opportunity to come face-to-fur with creatures that haven’t been seen on Earth for more than 10,000 years!

Creatures of the Ice Age is Sydney Zoo’s jaw-dropping new animatronic exhibition, and this weekend Lizzy gets up close and personal with its cast of cool critters, including Woolly Mammoths, Woolly Rhinos, Glyptodons and fearsome Sabre Tooth Tigers!

On The Boardwalk, Lizzy and her crew check out all sorts of amazing African animals, then it’s time for an exhilarating hands-on encounter with one of the zoo’s largest (and cheekiest) residents,  Kavi, the Asian Elephant. A visit to the Aquarium is next, followed by a stroll through the largest Reptile and Nocturnal House in the world!

The chill vibes keep coming when Lizzy drops into the kids’ Craft Village to make some snow-globes, then hits the Zoo’s pop-up Ice Rink for a lap or two with some very excited little skaters.

With an awe-inspiring array of animals – old and new – and thrills and chills, there’s something for everyone this July at Sydney Zoo’s winter wonderland!
