Are you dreaming of an escape to the country? Cross Park is stunningly situated, in the Hawkesbury region, just a 1.5-hour drive from the Sydney CBD.
Hand-built by convicts back in the 1800s, Cross Park is a superb example of a Victorian homestead, built from Sydney sandstone. The Cross Park of today has been lovingly restored by the current owners, and operates as homestead accommodation, perfect for families or groups. The house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which features a free-standing terrazzo bath. The sweeping grounds are a sight to behold, with a 12-metre stone swimming pool and lush, landscaped gardens.

The property is also adjacent to the MacDonald river, a tributary of the Hawkesbury River, and boasts its own private beach, where guests can enjoy a range of water sports — including kayaking and canoeing — or set up an idyllic private picnic.
Being a working farm, Cross Park has its own menagerie of animals, including alpacas, goats, cows and chickens. Kids visiting the farm can hand-feed the animals and collect fresh eggs daily.
There are many gorgeous creatures to meet on the farm, but the real stars are the horses! The Cross Park equine family is good-natured and socialised. Visitors can enjoy on-site horse-riding lessons run by professionals, and take advantage of the many scenic trail ride paths around the property.
