One of the world’s biggest events, St Patricks Day is celebrated across the globe.

The Tea Cosy is an Irish- themed cafe, where you can experience true Irish
warmth and hospitality. Housed in a lovely heritage building, The Tea Cosy is a
family- owned and run business, with three generations working together. The
cafe is famous for their traditional Irish scones, made daily, and freshly- brewed
tea, just like grandma used to make, back in the old country. This St Patrick’s Day,
there will be some specials, including fresh sandwiches and desserts.
The Irish are known for a good ‘knees up’, and if you’re looking to really immerse
yourself in the celebrations, The Mercantile Hotel is where it’s at! There’ll be
plenty of Guinness, flowing on tap, and Irish meals to devour including an Irish
curry, served with chips, and The Mercantile’s signature dish – The Shamrock Pie.
