They say its “seven miles from Sydney and a million miles from care”. The Northern Beaches suburb of Manly is known for its beautiful beaches, great surf, and laid-back lifestyle. It’s now well on the way to becoming famous for a new dining concept they call the Manly Greenhouse. Spanning three levels, there are several styles of dining options available to the discerning drinker and diner. As you’d expect, an abundance of greenery can be found at the Manly Greenhouse, imbuing the whole building with a fresh vibe, and an atmosphere that is vibrant and alive!
The bottom level is the Greenhouse — a casual, straight-off-the beach, bistro-style eatery with hanging and potted plants everywhere. The dishes on this menu are mainly designed for sharing, with wood-fired, thin-crust pizzas being one of the most popular items. There’s also their famous “green risotto” and other Italian-inspired fare, like fresh burrata.
The next level up is the Grill, where you’ll find a more refined menu, and superb, elevated ocean views. Most of the dishes are cooked on the wood-fired, open grill, infusing the meats, and accompaniments, with delicious, smoky, woody flavours. Expect world-class steaks and seafood, and a range of wine to choose from.
On the top floor is the rooftop bar. With its retractable roof, this bar is open for drinks, even on bad weather days. The cocktail menu is extensive, with modern and classic cocktails, and the ocean views are uninterrupted and unbeatable. This is an ideal location for an afternoon or evening drink, and on the weekends there’s even live DJs spinning tracks for the perfect vibe.
