With an explosion of fantastic restaurants in recent years, Parramatta is fast-becoming Sydney’s number one foodie hot-spot – and, if you love a little fun and culture fused with your fine-dining, you’re going to want to check out a secretive little gem Sally is uncovering this weekend!
Heritage Lounge is a brand new venue situated within the historical Heritage Precinct building nestled in the heart of Parramatta. Boasting stunning architecture, décor, and a cheeky, prohibition-speakeasy vibe, this elegant establishment transports visitors back to the glamour and sophistication of the 1920s. Join Sally as she indulges in a few fun, gangster-themed cocktails such as the Personal Loan, The Ginancial, and the show-stopping Marcandy, as well as delicious bar menu delights, including a sensational Maki Sushi Boat and a perfect Cheese Platter.
Housed under the same roof, Oribu オリーブ is Heritage Lounge’s brand new restaurant – and Parramatta’s first up-market Japanese dining experience. Sally talks to head chef, Harry Cho, about his incredible menu, then samples three of his best-selling dishes including Hiramasa Kingfish Carpaccio, Salmon Gravlax Beetroot with Strawberry Umeboshi Plum Sauce, and a dramatic Applewood-Smoked Duck Breast with Pumpkin Puree that is an absolute feast for the senses.
