Fancy a tour on the water with a bit of action and a bit of history? Then you need to take Sydney Harbour Kayaks Darling Harbour tour and soak it all up.
Sydney Harbour Kayaks have partnered with the National Maritime Museum to give you a unique on the water view of some of the magnificent vessels docked there. And they all have a story to tell.
Shannon your guide will tell you the indigenous history of Darling Harbour, or Tumbalong as it’s known in the local Gadigal language. Then you can head to the destroyer HMAS Vampire to grab the nose and get a sense of the scale of these vessels.
Dive back in history with the tall ships Duyfken and the Endeavour, then get close enough to the submarine HMAS Onslow to touch it.
Finish with a close up look at the glorious James Craig, then if there’s time, paddle out to see Barangaroo and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
It’s insightful, delightful and a whole lot of fun.
