Pete takes us on an exciting tour of his hometown, including a visit to the recently upgraded, at a cost of $2.7 million, The Links Shell Cove golf course. Holes have been added to this picturesque course, overlooking rolling green fields and Saddleback mountain, to now total eighteen holes. There is also a new, architecturally-designed mini-golf course that the kids will absolutely love, as well as those keen to try out the sport. The Tavern has also been part of the recent upgrade, and now features a stylish new dining and function area- The Shed. You can enjoy all your classic pub fare, including ‘sniddys’ and burgers, but the menu now also includes antipasto platters, salt and pepper squid and many more dishes. You find extensive beers, on tap, as well as great cocktails and spritz’s.
If you want to explore what’s UNDER the water, around Shellharbour, Shellharbour Scuba are you go- to people. Together with their great team, owner-operators Mick and Bonnie, can take you to some fantastic scuba and dive sites in the area. One of the most picturesque, and accessible, sites in Bushrangers Bay where you can swim with a fascinating ecosystem of marine life, including an incredible colony of resident Grey Nurse sharks!
