‘TINA – The Tina Turner Musical’ is told through the eyes of Tina herself, from her humble beginnings, in Nutbush Tennessee, to selling out packed stadiums in Rio de Janeiro. The musical tracks Tina’s many highs and lows. We meet Tina as a child, through to her fated meeting with Ike Tina when she was just a teenager. We watch as her spirit and resilience eventually wins through to help her escape domestic violence, and successive career failures and disappointments, to ultimately achieve her dream as one of the world’s biggest selling stadium artists.
